Bulawayo Polytechnic

The polytechnic provides a number of higher education qualifications. It has played host to exchange students from many countries including the United States and western Europe. It has two campuses in Bulawayo and provides technical and vocational education for the nation.

It has been attempting to become a University College, but fell out of favour in preference to the establishment of the National University of Science and Technology; the National University of Science and Technology used Bulawayo Polytechnic facilities to get started.The Polytechnic is now offering a Bachelor of Technology degree in Environmental Health in conjunction with NUST.
