St. Johns College
Founded in 1986, St John’s College is a leading independent secondary school in Zimbabwe. The College admits boys from the age of 12 to 18 and has a limited number of sixth form places for girls in the International Baccalaureate programme.
St John’s Educational Trust governs two schools; St John?s Preparatory School for Boys and St John?s College. Both are independent day schools and members of the Association of Trust Schools of Zimbabwe (ATS). The Headmasters are members of the Conference of Heads of Independent Schools of Zimbabwe (CHISZ).
The Preparatory School admits boys from the age of 5 to 12 for Infants, Junior and Senior Primary schooling. The College admits boys from the age of 12 to 18 and has a limited number of places for girls in the International Baccalaureate programme in the sixth form. While all Grade 7 pupils are required to sit the CHISZ Common Entrance Examination, most boys who elect to go on to the College are accepted. The continuity of ethos and St John?s spirit is recognised and fostered.
